Kurt Spohn started Action Auto in 1975 after learning the auto repair business from both his father and grandfather, who also owned repair shops in south Minneapolis. We started as a small two bay shop and in 2002, expanded our building to almost three times its original size. Today, the shop is run by Kurt and his two sons, Jon and Clint. We have a team of highly trained and certified mechanics along with a first-class facility and the most up to date equipment. You can trust that when you come to Action Auto, you will be working with experts, who will educate you about what is needed on your car. We will also provide you with a free loaner car when needed to ease the stress of car repairs. Our main concern is repairing your vehicle correctly, in a timely manner, for a fair price.
